Ok a lot of you guys know Emmitt already. When choosing art for our show at the Dallas Library we decided we had to include Emmitt since he was our first really cool painterly style pup. He is still one of my favorites and adding in a few toys to this piece really lends it a new playfulness. One of the goals for me personally with this show was to present a strong grouping that represents the new direction my digiatl art is heading. We still love creating our Warhol styled Portraits, however as more and more artists have also started paying homage to Andy "doggy style" we feel that it is time for us to carve out our own unique look. The painterly direction this new work is heading has added a bit more time to our projects, however I am loving the freshness these pieces have, and the new skills I am teaching myself.
